What if I didn’t do aerial yoga?
We are often asked, what if I didn’t do aerial yoga? This is my first time, what should I take with me, what clothes? I have no physical fitness, can I cope?
I would like to answer many of them:
– 99% of those who attend classes have not done aerial yoga before. When you come to class, you won’t be alone.
– It’s hard to be a beginner in any activity, but during the class a certified trainer will work with you, who will introduce you to the basics of aerial yoga, proper breathing, correct mistakes and help avoid injuries. The number of people practicing in the group is limited, so the trainer’s attention and time is enough for everyone. Here, the main thing is, don’t be silent, if you have questions, ask.
– Move forward step by step. Don’t try to do everything at once in your first classes. The poses will seem awkward and difficult, and that’s normal. After all, you’ve never done this before! Don’t be discouraged if something doesn’t work out right away, praise yourself for doing something today that you didn’t do yesterday. Strive to be healthier, stronger and more flexible than you were yesterday.
– Don’t give up right away. As a rule, aerial yoga does not bring immediate dividends. Understanding the benefits of aerial yoga may take some time. Set yourself a goal of attending at least 10 classes before deciding whether you need aerial yoga or not. To understand whether there is a result or no result, you need to give yourself time. After all, you even take vitamins in courses.
– If you haven’t done anything for a long time, aerial yoga may be a good option to start with, since in this case it’s even more difficult to force yourself to run and jump. It’s quite possible that once you start doing aerial yoga, you’ll want to both run and jump.
– We do aerial yoga barefoot; if barefoot doesn’t feel comfortable right away, you can put on socks. T-shirt with short sleeves. We ask you to remove all jewelry before class.
– What to take with you. You can bring your own mat if you wish, although there are mats for everyone. Water if you prefer to drink during your workout. Shower accessories if you want to take a shower after training.
And most importantly – a great desire to try something new and get pleasure and benefit!)

See you at Sky Gravity! 😉
